Paris wedding photoshoot

There are many types of Paris wedding photoshoots. Such as Paris pre-wedding photo session, Paris bridal photoshoot or Paris wedding portrait pictures. But the most romantic Paris wedding photoshoot is probably the one that you have when you are eloping in Paris. That’s also what Iesha & Chris did: The couple from San Francisco, USA got married in Paris with an elopement ceremony at the Eiffel Tower and a elopement wedding photoshoot in Paris. As elopement photographer in Paris I was happy to be part of their wedding day in Paris. Let me tell you a bit more about Chris & Iesha’s Paris elopement.

Romantic first look at the Eiffel Tower

Even if Iesha & Chris were eloping to Paris just the two of them, they wanted to keep and incorporate some traditional wedding day elements into their Paris elopement. Having a first look was very important to them. As their English speaking Paris elopement photographer I recommended to have the first look at the Eiffel Tower. Because the Eiffel Tower as a backdrop of the first look is of course so much nicer than a hotel room or hotel lobby.

Together with Laura Montorio, their celebrant in Paris, we planned Chris & Iesha’s first look at the Eiffel Tower as follows: Groom Chris was arriving first at our agreed meeting point at the Eiffel Tower. Paris celebrant Laura Montorio brought him to the spot were we had planned the first look to take place. She kept him company (and calmed his nerves;) while waiting for his bride – and made sure he would not peak.

A few minutes later Paris bride Iesha was arriving at our meeting point at the Eiffel Tower in a different cab. As her elopement photographer in Paris I was welcoming her and gave her instructions and tips how to go about the first look. I was then following her to capture the moment when she walked towards groom Chris, tapped him on the shoulder so that he would turn around and discover his gorgeous bride.

A first look on your Paris elopement day is such a romantic moment to incorporate into your Paris wedding photoshoot.

Eiffel Tower celebrant ceremony

Actually Iesha & Chris told me when we planned their Paris wedding photoshoot prior to their elopement day, that the two of them were very shy. So the thought of sharing such intimate moments as a first look, an elopement ceremony and wedding photoshoot in Paris at public locations was a bit scary for them. That’s why as experienced elopement photographer in Paris I suggested to meet as early as possible in the morning to beat the crowds and to have as few people around as possible. This worked perfectly. We met at sunrise and had Trocadero square pretty much for us to have their first look and a few first photos.

Then we went to the Eiffel Tower gardens to have their wedding ceremony with Paris elopement celebrant Laura Montorio. She had suggested this spot as it was intimate and romantic – prefect for an elopement ceremony in Paris. We were also almost alone for their wedding ceremony, so Iesha & Chris were able to feel relaxed and comfortable to exchange their personal wedding vows in Paris. It was such a sweet and romantic moment that the couple will surely never forget!

Elegant Paris wedding photoshoot

After Iesha & Chris got married with their romantic celebrant ceremony at the Eiffel Tower, we took a ride to take more wedding photos at two other photoshoot locations in Paris. First we went to Alexander III bridge to continue their Paris wedding photoshoot at this elegant monument with golden statues and beautiful Parisian lamp posts.

The last stop of our Paris wedding photoshoot was Louvre museum. Taking Paris wedding photos at the famous Louvre pyramid is surely a must. But as Paris elopement photographer I also really love taking my couples to the Louvre palace courtyard for their Paris elopement wedding photo shoot in Paris. Because this former royal palace where the kings and queens of France lived is a gorgeous backdrop if my Paris brides want to feel like a princess for a day.
