Paris red dress photoshoot
Alisa & Amel Paris red dress photoshoot at the Eiffel Tower and Louvre was perfection. Not just because they were a gorgeous newly engaged couple madly in love with other. But also because they had choose great outfits for their Paris engagement photo session. As your experienced Paris photographer I will share some tips in this article about choosing beautiful outfits for your photo session in Paris.
Outfit tips for your Paris red dress photoshoot
Alisa had a very special engagement session in mind: She wanted to plan a Paris red dress photoshoot. Alisa had a beautiful long red evening gown with a large flowing skirt that she wanted to wear for her Paris red dress photoshoot. She was very excited about it, as she finally found a great occasion to wear this gorgeous red dress for her elegant engagement photo session in Paris.
As professional photographer in Paris I love shooting couple wearing bold colors, such as a Paris red dress photoshoot, because it simply always looks great on your Paris photos. Parisian city scape and architecture has mainly neutral colors and light tones such as beige, grey, white, golden brown tones. So if you wear an outfit or dress with a bright, bold and solid color your standing out better from the background. It does not have to be a red dress, but also a bright blue, emerald green, warm yellow, lovely purple etc. work very well.
If you are wearing a bright color for your Paris red dress photoshoot, make sure that your partner is matching. It would be best if he is wearing a rather neutral color, such as black, navy, grey or neutral tones, so that the colors of your outfits won’t clash. Amel for instance was wearing a classic beige suit with a white shirt, which looked great and matched Alisa’s red dress perfectly.
What also always looks great for a Paris red dress photoshoot is when your dress is long and wide with a flowing fabric. Alisa’s dress was perfect all all regards: the long skirt was beautifully flowing in the wind, which looks fantastic on their Paris engagement photos.
Paris engagement photos at Trocadero & Louvre
Alisa & Amel reached to me just one week before their romantic trip to Paris. They just recently got engaged and wanted to celebrate the occasion and take beautiful Paris engagement photos with iconic Parisian landmarks and classic French architecture. Even if it was rather short notice in the middle of peak season, as their English speaking photographer in Paris we able to find a date on which we were all available to schedule their engagement photo session in Paris.
The newly engaged couple wanted to have their engagement photoshoot at the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre – two photoshoot locations that were perfect for such an elegant Paris photo session. Alisa & Amel traveled to Paris in August. So even if this summer month is peak tourist season, Paris can still be rather quiet. Because August is vacation period for most of locals, so many Parisians are gone for holidays.
On the day of their engagement photoshoot in Paris we first met at Trocadero square, where we took Paris engagement photos with a stunning view on the Eiffel Tower. It looked gorgeous when Alisa was spinning, dancing or simply walking. Because her red dress was flowing in the wind with every movement. We then went to Eiffel Tower gardens and a beautiful stretch of the Seine riverside to take some romantic photos in Paris.
Our second photoshoot locations was Louvre museum. Of course we couldn’t miss the famous Louvre pyramid for their Paris engagement pictures with red dress. But also the Louvre courtyard, palace and archway was a stunning backdrop for their elegant Paris engagement photographer shoot.
