Intimate elopement in Paris

Intimate elopement in Paris can be anything you want it to be: Traditional or modern, romantic or fun, black and white or colorful – or a bit of everything. Share with me, your Paris elopement photographer, how you envision your intimate elopement in Paris and I am happy to help you creating exactly the wedding vibes your are looking for. Just as Karen & Brian did. They traveled to Paris to get married in one of their favorite cities in the world – because Paris has a special meaning for them and they wanted this to be reflected in their Paris photographer elopement photo session and Paris wedding ceremony.

Elopement ceremony at the Eiffel Tower

Karen & Brian’s love story is closely connected to Paris. Not only have they been traveling already to Paris several times as lovers. But both of them also used to perform as musical singers and dancers on a Disney Cruiseship. Together they played in the musical “The hunchback of Notre Dame” which is set in Paris. So the city of loved played a big role in their love story. Therefore it was obvious for Karen & Brian that they wanted to get married with an intimate elopement in Paris.

The couple wanted to have wedding photos and their elopement ceremony at the Eiffel Tower, because the most iconic Parisian landmark symbolized love and romance for them. As Paris elopement photographer I recommended to start their wedding photo shoot at Trocadero at sunrise, because this view platform at the Eiffel Tower gets busy very quickly. Therefore I met the couple at the Eiffel Tower at sunrise and we had the area almost for ourselves. So Karen & Brian felt comfortable to even dance for their Paris wedding pictures at the Eiffel Tower.

After a first few Paris elopement photos at the Eiffel Tower we went down to Trocadero gardens, where Laura Montorio, their English speaking celebrant in Paris, was already waiting for us at a beautiful ceremony location. She officiated a romantic and personal Paris elopement ceremony for Karen & Brian. Paris Officiant Laura also made sure to include Karen & Brian’s love story into the ceremony and as it was related to the city of love she also incorporated romantic readings about Paris with a little French touch to make it extra special for the couple.

Intimate elopement in Paris Notre Dame

After their wedding ceremony we continued their intimate elopement in Paris at the most important Paris photoshoot location of their love story: Notre Dame Cathedral. As professional elopement photographer in Paris I love to shoot in this area, because Notre Dame park and the Seine riverside nearby are very pretty and romantic. Also in the Notre Dame Paris neighborhood there are plenty of typical Parisian street Cafe terraces that I love using to shoot photos of an intimate elopement in Paris. At the same time Karen & Brian used the chance to order champagne to cheer their glasses and try a delicious French pastry.

Karen & Brian’s Paris elopement was not like a traditional wedding. Karen choose a modern short wedding dress and Brian wore a blue suite. The couple had also chosen to include a nice pop of color with a turquoise color theme that repeated in her shoes, fascinator as well as in his tie and socks. Karen also chose a non-traditional wedding bouquet in bright pink, yellow and orange. As Paris elopement photographer I know how important it is that your intimate elopement in Paris is reflecting your personalities. So however you envision your Paris elopement ceremony, your Paris wedding photo session as well as your Paris elopement style – the choice is entirely yours and I encourage you to use it.
