What is a Pre wedding photoshoot in Paris?
Eugenie & Samuel, a couple from Hong Kong, booked their prewedding photo session with me, their Eiffel Tower Pre-wedding photographer. I often shoot Paris pre wedding photos for my clients and I really love this type of event. A pre-wedding photo shoot means that the couple gets dressed up in wedding outfits – wedding gown for the bride, tux or wedding suit for the groom – for their wedding photo session in Paris.
However the couple does not get married in Paris with a Paris wedding or Paris elopement. They also don’t exchange wedding vows during a Paris elopement ceremony with an English speaking celebrant in Paris. Couples who book a Paris photshoot with an Eiffel Tower pre-wedding photographer are not married yet. They actually take pre wedding photos in Paris before they get married and to show on their wedding reception or to use for their wedding invitations.
Apart of being dressed in a wedding dress and wedding tux suit, a Paris pre wedding photo session is similar to a classic couple photoshoot in Paris or Paris elopement wedding photo session. The tradition of planning a pre-wedding photoshoot is something mainly couples from Asia or couples with Asian origins and background do. But of course anybody who loves the idea can plan a pre wedding photoshoot in Paris – as your Eiffel Tower pre-wedding photographer I would be happy to hear from you!
Eiffel Tower Pre-wedding photographer session
Eugenie & Samuel wanted to have Paris pre-wedding photos at three different photoshoot locations: The two main locations would be the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre museum – the most iconic and famous areas in Paris. They also wanted to have a few Paris pre-wedding photos at the Seine riverside with a dreamy and romantic feel. As their Paris photographer I felt this was a great choice that would give us a nice variety of photoshoot backdrops – and I was excited to meet Eugenie & Samuel for their pre wedding photoshoot in Paris.
On the day of their romantic Paris pre-wedding photo session I met them at the Eiffel Tower. I loved their wedding outfits: Eugenie wore a long tailor-made wedding gown which just looked so elegant. We took many gorgeous wedding photos on Trocadero square, where we have a great view on the Eiffel Tower, and at the Eiffel Tower fountain. Then we took a ride to the Louvre museum.

On the way we stopped to take a few romantic photos at the Seine riverside. As experienced photographer in Paris I really love this stretch of the Seine riverbanks, that is not very knows. So feel free to ask me anything about photoshoot locations – as local Paris photographers I know the best spots.
When we arrived at the Louvre museum we of course took some pre-wedding photos of Eugenie & Samuel at the famous Louvre pyramid. But I especially love their pre-wedding photos at the Louvre palace and Louvre gallery – they look so elegant and this location was fitting perfectly to Eugenie & Samuel’s wedding style.

The pre-wedding photo session went smoothly, despite some tourists who were eager to take pictures with my gorgeous couple. Needless to say: they looked like professional models! I am so happy that Eugenie & Samuel love the experience of their Paris pre wedding photoshoot and that they loved the result: their beautiful pre-wedding pictures in Paris.
